Privacy policy

Your Google account

Tama Studio uses Google sign-in through Supabase. Google provides basic profile information, which can include your name, email address, profile image and account identifiers. Supabase stores the identity and profile metadata needed for sign-in. Tama Studio uses your verified email and display name to identify your account.

The app requests the email and profile permissions for sign-in. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or Google Calendar.

Information you create in the app

When you save a design or pattern, Tama Studio stores its name, design settings, uploaded artwork, preview image and account ownership. Saved records also include creation or update times. Text you add to a design is part of that saved design.

The app also stores account access status, administrator roles, feature settings, design limits and access-request or approval records. These let us manage the beta and provide the features available to your account.

How this information is used

We use account information to sign you in, review access requests, connect you to your saved designs and respond to support requests. Design information lets the app show, edit, save and export your work.

Administrators can see account names and email addresses, review access requests, manage permissions and limits, and view saved designs and patterns. They can also copy designs or patterns between users. An administrator-created copy is available to the receiving user. Saved designs are available to their owner and the administrator team; the app does not currently provide a public design gallery.

When you request access, administrators receive an email containing your name and email address. When your access is approved, an approval email is sent to you. Delivery records include recipients, notification status and retry information.

Services used by Tama Studio

Google

Provides sign-in and basic profile information. The Studio also loads some interface fonts from Google Fonts. Google privacy policy.

Supabase

Provides authentication, the database for accounts and saved designs, and the server function that sends access notifications. Supabase privacy information.

Cloudflare

Hosts and delivers the Studio application. Cloudflare privacy policy.

Resend

Delivers access-request and approval emails, including the recipient address and the name and email information included in those messages. Resend privacy policy.

When your browser connects to the hosting, sign-in, database or font services, they receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser information and the requested resource. Providers may keep operational or security logs under their own practices.

These services process information needed to provide their part of the app. Their own privacy information explains their practices; this page describes how Tama Studio uses them.

Information on your device

The app uses browser storage to keep your sign-in session, preferences and local design or recovery copies. These copies help preserve work when an online save fails. Downloaded designs and pictures are also kept wherever you choose to save them.

Clearing site data can remove browser copies and sign you out. It does not delete your online account or saved designs. Deleting an online design does not remove files you have already downloaded.

Managing and deleting your information

You can delete individual designs and saved patterns in the app, and download an editable copy of a design before deleting it. Signing out does not delete your account.

Account information, saved designs, patterns and access-notification records do not currently have an automatic expiry. To ask about stored information, request a correction, or request deletion of your account and associated data, email us from the address you use to sign in:

Account deletion is handled by contacting us; it is not a self-service control in the app. We may need to confirm that a request comes from the account owner. Include any questions about provider records, backups or copies on your device so we can address the scope of your request.
